By downloading or using Leaf Player (the "App"), developed by Xiaochen Cui, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Leaf Player is a media player for files you provide. It lets you browse and play your own audio and video from supported sources, including files on your device, Google Drive files you choose to access, and compatible network shares. For Google Drive, the App uses read-only access and never modifies, creates, shares, or deletes your Drive files.
Your files remain entirely yours; the App claims no rights over them. You are responsible for the content you store and play, and you agree to use the App only with content you own, control, or are licensed to use. Cached media, thumbnails, playback state, and library metadata stored by the App on your device exist only to provide playback, resume, browsing, and offline convenience for your own content. They may not be extracted, redistributed, or used to bypass any third-party terms or access controls.
When you connect third-party services, such as Google Drive, your use of those services remains subject to their own terms and policies. The App's use of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy and adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use. Network-share access, local file access, and Wi-Fi transfer features depend on the permissions, devices, and networks you control.
The current version of the App may be offered for free. We may add paid features, subscriptions, or other paid offerings in the future. Any paid offering will be described before purchase, including its price, duration, renewal behavior if applicable, and how to cancel or manage it through the platform purchase flow. We will not present a charge as free, hide renewal terms, or require payment without your confirmation.
Unless clearly disclosed before you update or purchase, adding paid offerings will not give the App permission to take away access to media you own or change your ownership of your files. Features, supported formats, cloud-service availability, and platform integrations may still change as the App evolves or as third-party services change.
The App helps you play media files. It does not determine whether a file is legal to use, whether you have the right license, or whether a third-party service permits a particular use. You are responsible for following applicable laws and third-party terms.
The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data, lost access to third-party services, network failures, playback failures, or unavailable media.
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always available at this URL. If a change is material, we will use reasonable efforts to make it visible before or when it applies. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
