1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Leaf Player (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What the App does
Leaf Player is a media player for files you provide. It lets you browse and play your own audio and video from supported local, cloud, network-share, and media-server sources. Remote file sources are read-only: the App does not upload, rename, move, or delete their remote content.
3. Your content and responsibilities
Your files remain yours; the App claims no rights over them. You are responsible for the content you store and play and agree to use the App only with content you own, control, or are licensed to use. Cached media, thumbnails, playback state, and library metadata exist only to provide playback, resume, browsing, and offline convenience. They may not be extracted, redistributed, or used to bypass third-party terms or access controls.
4. Third-party services
When you connect Google Drive, OneDrive, SMB, WebDAV, Jellyfin, Apple Files providers, or another supported service, your use remains subject to that service’s terms and policies. The App’s use of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy and adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use. Service availability can change outside the developer’s control.
5. Pricing and paid features
The App may include free and paid features, subscriptions, or other offerings. Any paid offering is described before purchase, including price, duration, renewal behavior when applicable, and how to manage or cancel it through Apple’s purchase flow. A purchase does not transfer ownership of your media to Leaf Player.
Features, supported formats, cloud-service availability, platform integrations, and entitlement boundaries may change as the App evolves or third-party services change. Material purchase terms shown at the time of purchase govern that transaction.
6. No professional or rights advice
The App helps you play media files. It does not determine whether a file is legal to use, whether you hold an adequate license, or whether a third-party service permits a particular use. You are responsible for applicable law and third-party terms.
7. Availability and backups
Source availability depends on devices, networks, credentials, permissions, providers, and servers you control or choose. Keep an independent backup of important media and source information. Caches and offline conveniences are not a substitute for the authoritative copy of your collection.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data, lost access to a third-party service, network failure, playback failure, or unavailable media.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is available at this URL. If a change is material, reasonable efforts will be made to make it visible before or when it applies. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
